The Warren -Waukegan Fire Protection District (WWPD) serves the unincorporated areas in and around Gurnee, including Park City and Lake Villa. As its own taxing body, the WWFPD contracts Emergency Medical Services and Fire Protection Services with the Village of Gurnee. This partnership has been in effect since the 1930's.

Our mission, like that of the Gurnee Fire Department, is to ensure the protection of the lives and property of the community we serve by providing prompt and professional services in the event of fire, medical emergencies, and disasters or any other event that may threaten the public welfare.
