During snow events, additional parking restrictions are in place to help public works crews safely and efficiently clear roadways.
Parking is prohibited on any Village street or alley:

Residents expecting overnight guests or temporary driveway work may request temporary overnight parking accommodations to help avoid unnecessary ticketing.

Handicap Parking Permits:
The Gurnee Police Department vigorously enforces all properly posted handicap parking zones in the Village. Residents who have a permanent disability may apply for a permanent permit from the Secretary of State Office. Residents who are seeking a temporary permit may submit an application for a 90-day permit at Village Hall (325 N. O'Plaine Road), Monday through Friday between 8am - 4pm.
