2026 Trick-or-Treat Hours
Saturday, October 31st, 2-5pm
The Village invites families to enjoy a fun and safe Halloween. If you're heading out to trick-or-treat, keep these safety tips in mind:
- Be Visible: Choose costumes that are easy for drivers to see and avoid masks, hats, or other costume pieces that obstruct vision.
- Use Sidewalks & Crosswalks: Cross streets at designated crosswalks whenever possible, look both ways before crossing, and obey traffic signs and signals.
- Stay Together: Young children should always trick-or-treat with a trusted adult. Older children going out without an adult should stay with a group and have a plan for checking in.
- Visit Participating Homes: Only approach homes that are clearly welcoming trick-or-treaters.
- Stay Outside: Never enter a home while trick-or-treating unless accompanied by a trusted adult.
- Check Treats: Have an adult look through children's treats before they eat them.
Drivers: Watch for Trick-or-Treaters
If you're driving during trick-or-treat hours, slow down and stay alert--especially in residential neighborhoods. Watch for children who may unexpectedly enter the roadway.
