Residents may place one bulk item at the curb each week for collection on their regularly scheduled garbage day at no additional cost.
Bulk items generally include common household items such as furniture, bicycles, tables, chairs, mattresses, box springs, household fixtures, small car parts, carpeting (cut into sections that one person can handle), or one additional bag of refuse. Place the item next to your garbage cart on your regularly scheduled collection day and it will be picked up free of charge.
Mattresses and box springs must be placed in a plastic mattress bag or securely wrapped to prevent the spread of bed bugs.
Electronics, refrigerators, freezers, and hazardous materials such as paint, chemicals, and oil are not accepted and should never be placed at the curb for collection.
