The Village of Gurnee Annual Fall Paper Shredding Event is a free, residential-only service co-hosted with Baxter Credit Union (BCU) at the Gurnee Village Hall parking lot on 325 N. O'Plaine Rd. Business and commercial documents will not be accepted.
This drive-through community gathering is strictly limited to local residents destroying personal, non-commercial documents to protect against identity theft, with all shredded material immediately diverted into a dedicated recycling pipeline.
The event operates on a first-come, first-served basis, and attendees simply pull up to allow staff to unload personal documents directly from their vehicle's trunk or back seat.
