Hefty ReNew Update: Program Elimination
The Hefty ReNew Program is being phased out by Reynolds Consumer Products. The Hefty ReNew Orange Bags will be discontinued by retailers by the end of 2026, but collection of Hefty ReNew materials will continue through June 30, 2027.
Residents with unused bags after June 30, 2027, can visit Hefty's Hefty ReNew page for return and refund instructions. Reynolds thanks the communities and residents who participated in the program, which expanded to eight communities, served more than 2.3 million households, and diverted more than 3,500 tons of hard-to-recycle materials from landfills.
